On my podcast this week ,I share my journey to India – filled with thoughts, sounds, and emotions  from my trip; yoga sessions, reflections on grief, and the profound impact of gratitude and creativity on my healing process.

The podcast begins with a meditation from our yoga session, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in the sounds of nature and the rhythm of their breath. My journey to India was prompted by a need for healing and self-discovery, following a period of grief and loss. I believe that in life, we often reach moments where everything seems to break, urging us to pause and listen to our inner voice. For me, India has long been a sanctuary for Ayurvedic treatment, a holistic approach to healing the mind and body.

Navigating grief is a deeply personal journey, and I’ve learned that confronting emotions is essential for healing. Gratitude plays a part in this and being in India always opens this up easily.

As I reflect on the authenticity of my experiences in India, I’m reminded of the prevalence of curated lifestyles and influencer culture, which often overshadow genuine connections and real-life struggles. In a world where perfection is portrayed as attainable through material possessions, I strive to share my authentic journey, embracing imperfection and inspiring others to find wellness through nature, creativity, and self-acceptance.

During my time in India, writing has been my refuge, allowing me to navigate complex emotions and find clarity amidst the stillness. Inspired by artists like Al Lewis, who channel their experiences into creative expression, I’m reminded of the therapeutic power of storytelling and the importance of sharing our truths with others. Through writing, I’ve found clarity and direction, paving the way for new beginnings and insights. In the month ahead, I look forward to exploring the practice of journaling further with my Creative Haven membership group, offering a space for reflection and self-discovery.
