Back in the water! 💦 3 months and 1 week on and Back in the water! 💦 3 months and 1 week on and I finally took the plunge into Loch Ness. Not going out of my depth or far from the car, I am banking on my theory of cold water swimming being a healer.  The tissue damage hasn't yet completely passed, but I feel strong enough now to begin. Being out in the water even for a few moments makes me feel amazing and so much more like myself again. Listen to the quiet ones. I have spent a lifetime Listen to the quiet ones. I have spent a lifetime feeling unheard and frustrated knowing I had so much to share. Feeling inferior because I didn't want to join in, go out and partake. But what I did want to do was to quietly get on with the things I felt so passionate about. My painting, photography, reading, the things I was talented at. ⁠ .⁠ I have learnt about my strengths as an introvert and I am solid in my own skin now. And, yes, occasionally I still get frustrated when an extrovert with more energy for sharing, a louder voice and more friends gets the speaking slot, the backing, the promotion. ⁠ But through all this, the most valuable lesson I have learnt, and one that many should pay attention to is this. Does happiness begin when we live in the moment. A Does happiness begin when we live in the moment. A bit like dogs do !
