An open fire, dog friendly, good hearty food and a warm welcome after walking on the hills in the wind and rain. Seamus’ bar next door to the Sligachan Hotel has it all.
I happened to have a friend’s dog with me on this occasion and just fancied warming up with a bite to eat after being outdoors. We sat by the fire and enjoyed lunch in a relaxed and lovely atmosphere whilst drying out. Serving simple food such as burgers and haddock and chips alongside Scottish favourites like Haggis, Neeps and tatties and Cullen skink this is real down to earth food cooked really well.
The bar will be open all year round this year for the first time even though the hotel shuts down for a couple of months in January. I recommend trying it out!
